Kate Stransky is a director and designer with a specialty for stop-motion animation,
puppetry, and miniatures. Kate and her company Mad Swordsman Productions
have worked on live-action feature films, animated films, commercials, and music videos.
Kate teaches in the animation department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and at Columbia College where she teaches Stop Motion Animation, Production Design, and SFX.
